Inspired By Reading-The Swan Thieves- So I was inspired not to make a jewelry project but to paint.  Here is my first landscape.   And the inspirational picture.

Inspired by Reading-A Wrinkle in Time

Inspired by Reading-So the realization hit me that I never posted my piece from The Wrinkle in Time last month.  So here it is.  The inspiration was from when Mrs. Whatsit was flying them and they saw one of Uriel's moons and the sky was described as clear blue.

Inspired by Reading Book Club- The Magicians

Ok so it has taken me a little while to figure this blog thing out.  Here is my piece from the Magicians.  Early in the book Quentin was exploring the campus and found the patchwork field-"Some of the squares were grass , some were stone, some were sand, some were water, and two were made of blackened, silvery metal, elaborately inscribed."   That was the inspiration for the piece.
